Echinacoside
Neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, fights influenza
Echinacoside is a compound of the secondary metabolism produced by the Echinacea plant for defence against pathogens. Neuroprotective and is also active in slowing down memory impairment. Echinacoside has anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour, anti-ageing and strong immunomodulatory properties.
Clinical studies have demonstrated the efficacy of Echinacoside in:
- Fighting influenza and parainfluenza
- Treating the weakening of the immune system
- Reducing the risk of medical complications in upper respiratory tract infections
- Modulating the production of EPO (erythropoietin) without altering the number of circulating erythrocytes
