Pink grapefruit is a hybrid resulting from the fusion of orange and traditional grapefruit. The taste is less bitter and the skin thinner, but it is different especially in composition and therefore in properties. In fact it contains less Vitamin C and more sugar.

It stimulates the digestive system and is useful in cases of digestive ailments: in fact, the grapefruit is rich in citric acid which stimulates the production of digestive enzymes, without making the stomach acidic.
