Magnesium

Restores hydro-saline balance

Magnesium is part of the mineral salts family and is a macro-element that is absorbed mainly in the small intestine.

The daily nutritional requirement is 100 mg/day, sufficient for the number of cellular processes and reactions in which the mineral is involved.

In particular, Magnesium is essential for:

- some metabolic processes including the synthesis of lipids, proteins and nucleic acids

- cell membrane transport

- bone development, as can be seen from the higher concentration of Magnesium in this structure

- contributes to the proper functioning of nerve impulses that regulate the connection between: nerves and nerves, muscles and nerves

- is involved in the operation of over 300 enzymatic processes

Chronic magnesium deficiency causes alterations in calcium, iodine, sodium and potassium metabolism which causes muscle tetanic and cardiac abnormalities.
